Christmas Vacation...Day 3 (The Happiest Place on Earth!!)

We had the best time at Disneyland! I had been wanting to take our kids for a while, but Scott kept saying they were too young. Finally, I told him that we were going when we came down for Christmas. We went with my aunt and uncle, my cousin and her family. I am so glad that we did! It was a beautiful day and my kids were so good! They LOVED it almost as much as I did! I thought for sure they would be scared of the characters up close, but they weren't at all! At the end of the day, when the kids started to get really tired, my aunt and uncle took the three kids home and let the us parents stay and do some adult rides!

Carly was so excited to see Minnie! There was a big line that we had to wait in, but she sat on the curb right in front of her and waited until it was our turn. So cute!

Carly was quite the little princess that day! She kept dancing all over the place. I think she just like all the attention!

My aunt Brenda was so funny! She was all bundled up with her gloves and scarf on. You would think it was cold outside, but it wasn't! You can tell she is from California!

Poor Carly was so tired. I asked her if she wanted to take a nap and she said, ya. So I gave her binki to her and said go night, night. Five minutes later she was asleep! What a good girl!

Too bad she slept through the whole parade!

You can tell Mason was so tired too! He fought through it though and stayed awake.

Christmas Vacation... Days 1 & 2

We had the BEST Christmas vacation!! We left for California the weekend before Christmas. The kids were so good on the car ride there! We stayed at my grandma's (my moms mom)house in Santa Monica. It was supposed to rain almost every day, and it only ended up raining for a couple hours maybe one day! We usually just relax and spend time with family when we go. But we did lots of fun stuff this trip.



The first night we were there my dad took Scott and I to see Wicked! I had been dying to see it! My aunt and uncle watched the twins for us so we could enjoy the evening. I absolutely LOVED it! I definitely recommend it to everyone!

My kids were being so silly the next morning. My grandma had this back massager that vibrates and my kids were OBSESSED with it! They would just lay there while we would massage their backs.

Catching up

THANKSGIVING AT THE CABIN!
My in-laws just finished their beautiful cabin up by Strawberry. Sharon and I headed up a couple days before Thanksgiving to move everything in and get set up. It was A LOT of work, but lots of fun! Scott and his dad Lee came up with the kids on Wednesday. It was a great weekend. We tried to take the kids four wheeling on the Rhino, but it was absolutely FREEZING! We did not last very long!
We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner! It was just Lee & Sharon, Gram and Scott and I. (The babies were asleep) It was nice and peaceful!

TWILIGHT!! Of course, I was one of the many to go to the opening of Twilight! It was an evening full of fun! I'm still deciding how much I liked the movie. I think that I need to see it a second time to really get a feel for it! It's hard when you loved the book so much, right?!

DISNEY ON ICE!! My mother-in-law took all the grand kids (and some parents) to see Disney on Ice! My kids loved it! Here is Sharon and Gram with most of the grand kids. It was fun to all go together!

I love how interested Carly was! She was on the edge of her seat!

Pebbles and Bam Bam!!

I LOVE Halloween! This year Mason and Carly were Bam Bam and Pebbles! We had a fun night, mostly just making the rounds visiting family.

Pumpkin Patch

We had fun this year taking the kids to the pumpkin patch! They were not having the happiest of days, but it turned out to be fun. Only a few minor injuries! Mason fell and split his lip open as usual! And Carly was cranky until the end when she got this little pumpkin that was just her size. Then she was completely content! I guess we should have got the pumpkins at the beginning!
