We Thank Thee O God For A Prophet

When I heard the new on Sunday afternoon of President Hinckley's passing, I was really taken by suprise. It's taken me a while to post anything, mostly because I have been having a hard time putting my emotions into words. He truly was an amazing man that I will miss so much!

I just thought that I would share this little story with you. On Monday morning I was sitting at the dentist office, and happened to run into my little brother there. He was all dressed up like he was going to church. I asked him why he was dressed up so nicely and he said that it was for President Hinckley. I guess a lot of the kids in school spread the word to dress up on Monday out of respect for President Hinckley. It honestly made me want to cry. My brother is only fourteen, and in ninth grade. I just thought that it was so amazing that a bunch of young teenagers would think to do that! How sweet our youth is!

Sad Day... :(

Yesterday Mason and Carly both got tubes in their ears. I was a little nervous because they put them under to do the surgery. They were such troopers though! The surgery was super quick, only ten or fifteen minutes. Here are some pictures of them in their hospital gowns before the surgery. I didn't realize the battery on my camera was dead, so these were all on my phone.

Cowboy Up!

Last night Scott and I went to the Brad Paisley concert! We had awsome seats on the floor, it was sooo much fun! He really is so good in concert, for those of you country fans. Thanks Rob and Sasha for watching our crazy kids! You are the best!

Christmas in January

Ok, so I have been a little busy lately. Not only have my kids become ten times as busy, but I decided that after the holidays I really needed to focus on work for a little while. Which meant that I had to stay away from blogging all together! So here is a quick, very late post of our Christmas.

We had a great Christmas! The babies got into it a little and opened a few presents. I decided to take advantage of them not knowing the difference, and only got them a couple presents each. We spent Christmas Eve with the Francis family and Christmas morning with my family. We are so lucky to have so much family close by. We love you all!

As soon as I put up my tree, this was Mason's favorite hiding spot. He would crawl underneath where I couldn't reach him and pull all the lights off! Nice, huh! Next year I will keep all ornaments AND lights off the bottom of the tree!
